Ms. Danuck studied at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI before beginning her career as an Executive Assistant and Event Coordinator, where she most recently supported the President and Board of Directors for Fidelity Charitable. As a key member and representative for the companies she works for, Ms. Danuck deftly provided extensive support and leadership with complex, high-level projects and managed the nuances of a fast-paced working environment.

Such tenacity makes Ms. Danuck an ideal and exciting addition to the Rome Foundation team.

Her personal drive to help others, add value to experiences, and always learn from them enhances the Rome Foundation’s patient-first mission.

“I’m looking forward to working with such a diverse group of passionate professionals. It’s wonderful to be part of an international collaboration within a field that helps so many people worldwide,” says Ms. Danuck.

In her spare time, Ms Danuck loves being with her family and friends, including her two daughters, and going on adventures. She recently went skydiving (for the second time) and enjoys the thrills of rollercoasters and ziplines. When she’s not defying gravity, she enjoys cooking and baking and discovering new restaurants.

Ms. Danuck also enjoys immersing herself in classic stories, such as Little Women, The Grapes of Wrath, Wuthering Heights, and Pride & Prejudice. In fact, her two dogs, a mini-Goldendoodle and an Australian Labradoodle, are named Darcy and Lizzie. Don’t worry, sports fans. You can definitely find her cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes come hockey season.

For Ms. Danuck, each day is a new opportunity to connect with others. “Perspective and kindness are invaluable,” she says. “Everyone has their own challenges, strengths, and gifts. Allowing room for the views and ideas of others, all while choosing kindness, encourages growth and fosters understanding.”

Dr. Drossman notes “It’s such a delight to have Christine on board. She has already taken on new projects that will help our programs move forward most efficiently. I look forward to working with her.”

We are  glad to have Christine Danuck as part of the organization and looks forward to the adventures ahead.
